We have finally broken the cycle of year on, year off, and retained our prestigious Bordeaux Specialist Merchant of the Year award from the International Wine Challenge. At last Thursday’s awards at the Hilton on London’s Park Lane, we were thrilled to beat off some serious competition to hold on to the award – making this the 5th time in the last 8 years we have been successful. Whilst we remain adamant that we will never rest on our laurels, it is nonetheless gratifying to be acknowledged by our industry for delivering a top-class Bordeaux offering, especially given the challenging market conditions of the past few years.
Our sincere thanks to the judges and co-Chairmen Tim Atkin MW, Sam Harrop MW, Peter McCombie MW and Charles Metcalfe – this award means a great deal to us and we will continue to strive to be the best at what we do. Thanks should also go to Mme.
