Last month, we saw the re-launch of BIX – our broking platform that not only gives you access to even more incredible wines, but allows you to trade parts of your own portfolio that you have held with BI. The principle of BIX is very straightforward: simplicity, control and enjoyment. And given how simple it is to use, I’m not surprised at the flurry of amazing wines that have been added to the list in the past few weeks – and the variety is unbelievable. We’ve got everything from double magnums of Latour 2005 (98pts RP), Giacosa’s Barolo Rocche di Falletto 1999 (96pts WA) and magnums of Pol Roger Winston Churchill 2002 (97pts JS), to some real collectors pieces from the world of Burgundy. Names such as Grivot, Engel and Dujac (to name but a few) are pretty regular occurrences on BIX so there’s always something exciting to unearth!

BIX really is a simple and enjoyable way to buy and trade some of the best fine wines around – all kept in our state-of-the-art facility at Octavian, in The Colerne Reserve. If you’ve not already registered for online access to your portfolio, make sure you do. It couldn’t be simpler and it’ll open up a world of trading opportunities for you. If you’ve got wines stored elsewhere (what on earth possessed you?!) then why not get them transferred across to us and access the BIX platform? Our rates are £10 per 9l case (or equivalent) per year and £5 per 4.5l case excluding VAT and it’s an easy process. Just drop me a line and I’ll guide you through the process.
