This wonderful whisky is the product of just 5 refill casks originally laid down before 1979. They were then brought back together in 2008 to be filled into first fill sherry casks and were left to mature for a further ten years! Highland Park has produced a very rare and special expression that is rich and beautifully balanced, deep and aromatic, and infused with a delicate sweetness. To honour this exquisite 40 year old single malt whisky, it is presented in a wooden presentation box with Viking symbols engraved on to the bottle itself. The whisky recently won Gold at Luxury Spirits Masters 2020.
