Restrained nose, more earth and truffle character. Has a blend of power and peppery notes and powdery tannins. Unrelenting at the moment. Quite hard to see through the powerful tannins. Drink: 2023 - 2030

This firmly structured red opens with aromas of iris, eucalyptus and forest floor. On the youthfully austere palate, you'll find sour cherry, blood orange and licorice before it closes on notes of rusted iron and sage. Assertive tannins grip the finish while vibrant acidity keeps it bright. Drink after 2028. Kerin O'Keefe
