Monterosso is an estate situated in the rolling slopes of the Ligurian Piedmont Apennines. The winery is a family run business who are involved in every part of the wine-making process. Monterosso pride themselves on their mission to preserve and protect the land on which their vineyards are grown, viewing themselves as 'keepers of the land'. Few treatments are used on the plants, using only copper, sulphur, natural seaweed fertiliser, and enriching the soil with organic matter.
