Fantastically dark and brooding, but with intoxicating spice and dark berry fruits and a real earth undertones. The palate is remarkably fresh and alive, with the rich, sweet, dark berry fruits and spice layered and textured, with beautifully elegant but very present tannins. It has real length and elegance; undoubtedly one of the greatest young ports I have been lucky enough to taste.
