A spicy, fresh and restrained nose offers good if not special complexity on the mostly red berry fruit-suffused nose. There is good verve and reasonably good detail to the lightly mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that possess solid concentration on the lingering and balanced finish. While certainly a good effort I was somewhat under-whelmed given the usual standards this wine offers. Note that the '10 Amoureuses will is already approachable though it should be capable of rewarding 8 to 10 years of cellar time. Drink: 2018+
