In 2009, the nose is more Vosne than Nuits with ample amounts of spice to the very ripe liqueur of cassis and red cherries that gives way to highly complex, intense and concentrated medium weight plus flavors that culminate in a rich, suave and superbly long finish. This is right at the limit of what I personally prefer in terms of ripeness but many will find this to be highly seductive. Drink 2019+.
