eRobertParker.com June, 2013 The 2010 Meursault from Jean-Francois is an absolute master class in winemaking and frankly, this “Village” would outshine many a Premier and Grand Cru. It possesses a crystalline bouquet with lime flower, apricot and that leitmotif of crushed stone. The palate is crisp and taut on the entry. This is a tightly wound, tensile Meursault with real presence and weight in the mouth, fanning out towards the sour lemon-tinged finish that feels so alive. How do they do it? You would be hard-pressed to find a Village cru better than this. Drink 2014-2020+ Tasted March 2013.
