The deep garnet-purple colored 2020 le Crock comes skipping out of the glass with carefree scents of fresh blackberries, black raspberries and redcurrant jelly, with touches of dried Provence herbs and Sichuan pepper. The medium-bodied palate has appealing energy and freshness with a fine-grained frame supporting the taut black fruit, finishing with an herbal lift.
A fresh, vivid Le Crock with blackberry, blueberry and tar. It’s medium-bodied with firm tannins and a crisp finish. Light austerity at the end.
With good color, the wine is bright, fresh, juicy and richly textured. Medium/full-bodied with loads of ripe, sweet, round berries, spice and chocolate in the finish. This is is so good today, you can enjoy it right now. And it will be even better with just a few years of age. 90-92
