Aged in large format French oak, sheer tannins and lively cranberry acidity drive home a long, pristine back-of-the-net finish with tantalising glimpses of the five-spice, roast chestnut and mineral notes to come.

Much more minty than the 2021, a touch herbal, and yet that ripe fruit is at the core again. Spiced and leathery in aroma, smooth and leathery on the palate. Complex and distinctive.
