The 2008 Tout Pres Pinot Noir has a pale ruby color and medium intense aromas of crushed raspberries, beets, loam, truffles and a hint of lavender. Crisp with a medium level of fine tannins matched to the concentrated fruit, it has a long minerally finish. It needs another year or two in bottle then drink it through 2016+. Since parting ways with Bannockburn, former winemaker Gary Farr has set about producing his own inimitable style of Geelong Pinots. By Farr does not currently have a USA importer but exports these wines to Canada (Alberta and BC), Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
