Tasting Notes and Scores
One of my favourite Haut-Medoc wines and they have not let me down on 2006 (although it is certainly below the quality level of the 2005.) A lean, tobacco-tinged nose that is lacking some vivacity. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of black pepper and blackberry leaf. Firm tannins, good delineation with good grip on the conservative finish. A decent, upstanding claret. Tasted April 2007.
