Good red-ruby color. Superripe black cherry, cassis and game nose, with a hint of herbs. Big, chunky and ripe, with slightly disjointed acids but good buffering extract and depth of flavor. Has an almost port-like ripeness. Finishes with serious but nicely buffered tannins.
