Tasting Notes and Scores
A blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and the rest Petit Verdot (which triumphed in 2011), the nose immediately whispers its origins, with beautiful cherry, cedar and vanilla tones. The palate is soft and generous but with that delightful crunchy redcurrant character we liked so much in the 2011 vintage. Ripe plums, black cherries and blackcurrants roll around the palate, finishing clean and bright. As our own Andrew Bruce would say – Deeee-licious!
