Tasting Notes and Scores
Damson and smoked oak on the nose, sweet fruit on the opening beats and this is richer than many you will find in the appellation, with well-worked tannins. A gourmet feel, not quite masking the high acidities that appear on the finish, closing things down. But plenty of appeal, and estate signature. 70% new oak. 32hl/y yield. Harvest September 27 to October 12.

Decanter
Tasted blind. Dark purplish. Ripe and sweet on the nose. But a bit strict and chewy on the palate. (JR)
