Tasting Notes and Scores

46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 13% Petit Verdot; 33% new oak. Barrel sample. Deepest cherry red. Smells of tiny black berries, expressive and slightly floral. Smooth and rounded on the palate and just the right amount of freshness so that the tannins are not sharpened. Spicy, smooth finish. (JH)
