Offering up aromas of minty berries, cherries and marmalade, the 2021 Desmirail is medium-bodied, soft and giving, with supple tannins and an open-knit, slightly diffuse palate.

45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Mid ruby. Somewhat herbal and fragrant on both nose and palate, this has a green, slightly mean edge as it lacks the fruit to prop up high acid and drying tannins. (TP)
