Tasting Notes and Scores
Aromas of chocolate, sweet cherries, dried herbs, and a hint of tapenade jump from the glass of this medium-bodied, silky, soft, pretty Margaux. Enjoy it over the next 10-12 years.

This has improved slightly since I last tasted it, still with a touch of greenness on the nose although not as pronounced, tobacco scents becoming more prominent with time in the glass with a touch of bay leaf. Good definition. The medium-bodied palate displays fine, quite assertive tannins, with notes of blackberry, raspberry and just a hint of black tea. Good definition although it lacks a little depth. It is still rather linear and conservative but should satisfy over the next 8-10 years. Drink now-2017. Tasted November 2008.
