Tasting Notes and Scores
Tasted ex-château and single blind in Southwold. The Deuxième Vin from Lynch Bages has a very strict, pencil lead nose with moderate delineation and vigour. The palate has a sweet, slightly overdone entry with tart red fruits and sharp acidity on the finish. It is missing a little length and exhibits a sour on the aftertaste, but it constitutes a decent, if unexciting Pauillac. Tasted January 2012.
