93% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc. Blackish dense garnet. Lifted plumminess on the nose. Silky texture. Pure pleasure, and a bit drier and less obviously sweet than some Pomerols. Serious wine that’s already fairly accessible, though one is aware of the tannins. (JR)

Thick, chalky tannins gum up your mouth and there's more alcohol than freshness. Challenging and not really integrated – acid seems to stick out on the end? (JH)
