The 1990 is noticeably less concentrated than the 1989. The bouquet offers aromas of tobacco, coffee, mocha, and red fruits intertwined with scents of new oak. In the mouth, the wine is medium-bodied, moderately endowed, and admirably pure, with moderate tannins and crisp acidity - unusual for a 1990. Drink it over the next 10-12 years (88)
