This is an excellent, forward, complex Pomerol with creamy opulence on the mid-palate and a complex nose of cedar, licorice, plum, black cherries, and a hint of herbaceousness. The sweet, fleshy, sexy, seductive style will be popular with many tasters. Drink it over the next 12 years.

Very good bright dark red. Reticent nose hints at redcurrant, bitter cherry, cinnamon and nuts. Then concentrated and ripe, with good volume and density, supple texture and ripe acidity. Finishes with supple, dusty tannins and good length. But doesn't have the flavor development or nuance for outstanding.
