Jacques Thienpont, owner of Chateau Le Pin, bought this Castillon property back in 2015 – a fabulous exposition perched high on the eastern end of the limestone plateau that extends from St Emilion. The 2017 is his 2nd vintage in charge and it is a generous, crowd-pleasing wine very much in the Thienpont style. One to decant a couple of hours before pouring for best results.
