Tasting Notes and Scores
The tentative blend of the 2017 Marojallia is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it has quite a plummy nose with a core of red and black raspberries, rose and anise plus a waft of cigar box. Medium-bodied, fresh, firm and grainy, it possesses elegant fruit yet great density, finishing long. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown, erobertparker.com, April 2018

A red with an attractive center palate of ripe fruit, firm tannins and freshness. Medium body and a clean finish. - jamessuckling.com, April 2018
James Suckling
Black cherry, plum, smoke, licorice, tobacco, menthol and chocolate are all front and center in the 2017 Marojallia. Pliant, supple and radiant, with good underpinning of structure, the 2017 has a lot to offer. As always, the style is bold and fruit forward. Although the 2017 lacks the visceral thrill of the best vintages, it is very nicely done. Tasted two times. - vinous.com, May 2018
Antonio Galloni
Deep crimson. Scented with dark, lightly charry fruit. Firm, dry texture, more texture than flavour on the palate at the moment. Quite closed but has a certain refinement. Dry, long finish. Needs time. - Julia Harding, jancisrobinson.com, April 2018
