Fragrant, grippy, lovely floral fragrance, gentle cumin and cloves, less density through the mid palate than in recent vintages bu they have captured the finesse and potential of the vintage, and you will not have to wait too long to drink. The 2024 Moulin St Georges is showing quite nicely, offering up aromas of raspberries, cherries and spicy new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tangy and mineral palate with a persistent, gently oak-inflected finish.

80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Cask sample. A complete wine with everything in place. Already open and fragrant. Supple and smooth with sufficient volume. Fresh but balanced with firmness and length on the finish. (JL)
