Rich, deep and dark fruit on the nose – ripe plum and blackcurrant with a touch of white pepper. Palate is more elegant than the robust nose suggests – really beautiful light touch, filling out on the palate, balanced by fresh acidity. Structure is surprisingly full and frames the delicious raspberry and plum fruit with hints of dark chocolate. Real concentration and a balanced finish.
Is there a better wine for under £10? We’ve yet to taste one from anywhere in the world.
