Tasting Notes and Scores
Loaded with black currant and spring flower characteristics as well as a nice lashing of minerality, this sleeper of the vintage is a medium to full-bodied, luscious St.-Estephe to enjoy now and over the next 10-12 years.

Tasted at the Richards Walford tasting in London. This has much more vigour on the nose than the 2007 as one would expect: quite dense, blackberry, raspberry and scorched earth, mingling with cedar and sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, a nice saline touch on the entry with firm grippy tannins. There is a slight attenuation towards the sappy finish, but overall this 2008 has good substance and very fine balance. Tasted January 2012.
