The 2018 Vosne-Romanée Clos de la Fontaine has a lovely, pure bouquet with red cherries, strawberry and a touch of Indian ink (not a million miles away from Les Suchots in style.) The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, gentle grip with a rustic, slightly ferrous finish. Fine, but I would drink this over the next 6-8 years.
