Tasting Notes and Scores
Good dark red. Wild, slightly gamey aromas of black raspberry, flowers, minerals and spices. Less sweet than the village Morey but still with noteworthy thickness and breadth. This firmly built wine is given lift by a pungent stony quality.

Vinous
The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Villages was showing some reduction on the nose, though underneath there appeared to be satisfactory red berry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with chewy tannin, surly at the moment with good depth, a touch of salinity on the blackberry and blueberry finish that bodes well for the future. I find more here than the Morey-Saint-Denis villages at this early stage.
