The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Chatelots 1er Cru has a floral bouquet with wilted rose petals infusing the well-defined, transparent red fruit. The palate is well balanced with a sorbet-like entry and a fine bead of acidity, not deep or concentrated, but fresh and brimming with tension. This will surely be difficult to resist in its youth.

Emphasizing elegance over power, the 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Chatelots reveals a pretty bouquet of raspberries, plums and dried flowers, complemented by hints of rose hip and raw cocoa. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, pure and succulent, with a tensile, chalky profile and a vibrant finish.
