The 2020 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru has a not dissimilar bouquet to the Clos de la Roche with detailed, minerally, perhaps slightly earthier red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit laced with Satsuma and hoisin on the entry, though I feel there is just a touch of greenness right on the finish here. Maybe that will disappear by the time of bottlng.
