Tasting Notes and Scores

88-90 NM

The 2024 Maranges La Fussières 1er Cru Blanc comes from slightly more clayey soils than the Santenay Blanc, though they share the same exposure. This was showing more reduction on the nose by comparison, so it was more difficult to read. The palate is well balanced, with a little more depth than its peers and just a hint of frangipani on the finish. Classy, yet just missing that "je ne sais quoi" exuded by Bachelet-Monnot's other cuvées.
