The 2022 Maranges Vieilles Vignes comes from two lieux-dits from a massal selection of 50-year-old vines, 40% whole bunches. The nose is refined and understated: mainly black fruit, brown spices and a subtle marine element. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit, slightly brittle in texture with a sapid, marine-influenced finish. Fine.
