Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2015 Pommard 1er Cru Les Fremiers has a well-defined bouquet with joyful redcurrant and wild strawberry aromas that are very well defined, very Pinoté! The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannin, very pure, mineral-rich fruit here, tensile and energetic with superb cohesion and harmony towards the compelling finish. This is an excellent expression of the oft-underrated vineyard Les Fremiers from Louis Boillot and it comes highly recommended.

(these 70-year-old vines, 20% of which will be replanted in 2018, produced just 22 hectoliters per hectare in 2015): Bright dark red. Sappy, liqueur-like aromas and flavors of kirsch , licorice and wild herbs. Concentrated and creamy but juicy today, conveying an impression of energy and balance. This very intense, deep, structured wine finishes with fully enrobed ripe tannins and excellent rising length. Very suave!
