The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet La Garenne 1er Cru offers well defined flint and granite aromas on the nose. The palate is well balanced with a saline entry, sappy and minimalist in style. It has an almost Chablis-like finish, but feels quite persistent and it should age in fine fashion. Very fine.
