Tasting Notes and Scores
Sweet spot. Reduction blocks the nose but there is excellent verve to the intense, pure, robust and beautifully well-detailed flavors that are underpinned by moderately rustic tannins, all wrapped in a reserved, structured, powerful and impressively persistent finish. This is a big wine and should be capable of a long life. Drink: 2024+

Allen Meadows
Medium red. Sexy aromas of musky strawberry, minerals, botanical herbs, smoky oak and menthol. Fat, sweet and pliant, with rich red berry and spicy soil tones joined by a perfumed note of orange on the long, dry aftertaste. Showed lovely flesh and volume initially but shut down dramatically in the glass. Forget about this one for at least several years.
