Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2012 Puligny Montrachet Villages has a strict granitic bouquet with just a touch of reduction. The palate is crisp and taut with good weight, flinty notes becoming more accentuated toward the finish. This is very elegant and refined, though I would be tempted to trade up to one of Jacques' premier cru if the opportunity presented itself.
