Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2014 Puligny-Montrachet Villages has a crisp and linear bouquet with touches of lime leaf and grass clippings. There is fine mineralité here. The palate is clean and fresh, just a touch of reduction on the entry, but there is certainly good weight on the mid-palate, quite rich for a 2014 with a smear of honey towards the finish. This is a perfect introduction to the delights of Jacques Carillon's winemaking. Tasted October 2016.

Aromas of lime, apple, clove and ginger. Rich, spicy and supple on the palate, with a fine-grained texture and attractive sweetness. Finishes with sneaky length. This village wine's glyceral quality should give it early appeal.
