Tasting Notes and Scores
A blend of 40% Gamay and the balance Pinot Noir, Cathiard's 2018 Coteaux Bourguignons Les Croix Blanches bursts with aromas of smoky berry fruit and ripe cherries, followed by a medium to full-bodied, succulent and supple palate. This charming introduction to the domaine's style derives from a superior regional lieu-dit located at the southern side of the commune of Vosne-Romanée.

The 2018 Côteaux Bourguignon Les Croix Blanches has a tight, backward bouquet at first, quite precise and offering blackberry and iodine aromas. The palate is fresh and sappy on the entry, underpinned by a fine line of acidity and a structure that seems to be gaining some rigidity during its second winter in barrel. Very fine.
