Palish bright red. Pungent aromas of raspberry, minerals and orange peel; this is more like it. Sweet and silky in the mouth, with explosive flavors of raspberry, spices and minerals, and a hint of chocolatey torrefaction. Ripe acids prolong the tangy, spicy finish. Very sexy wine, showing much better today than the Orveaux.
