Good, bright deep red. Aromas of black raspberry, mocha, cocoa and chocolatey oak. Sweet and thick but energetic, with a chocolatey richness to the lightly saline flavors of dark berries, spices and minerals. A bit clenched on the back end but dense and very long, and not at all heavy. A very good vintage for this cuvee .
