Full bottle 1,344 g. Grown in clay-sand on a bed of Bathonian limestone in the extreme north of this vineyard on the border with Chambolle-Musigny. Vines planted in 1959! Very pale rusty red (not a hint of blue ... ). Lovely, sweet, evolved nose with a fresh palate and fully evolved tannins. Real delicacy and charm. Beautiful balance. Should go well with our duck tonight. Complete even if more ethereal than meaty. (JR)
