Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2015 Corton-Vergennes Grand Cru has an attractive bouquet that needed a little coaxing: citrus fruit, white chocolate, almond and touch of wild mushroom that emerges with time. There is a lot going on there. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity, hints of white pepper and lemongrass, gently building in the mouth towards a saline finish that just lacks some length on the aftertaste. Not bad overall, although I prefer the two Puligny premier crus this year.
