Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2009 Meursault Rougeots comes across as fat and exuberant, but it has the shoulders to frame the fruit very nicely. It reveals tons of yellow stone fruits in a rich, explosive style that is partly the result of a high percentage of shot berries in this vintage. This needs time to shed some baby fat, but it is magnificent.

(this recently finished its malo) Very reduced on the nose. Full and rich in the mouth, boasting most of the main Meursault food groups: orange, lemon, spices, flowers, stone. Still a lot of gas here but this already displays considerable sex appeal.
