Offering up inviting aromas of dark berries, cherries and Indian spices, the 2018 Irancy Les Beaux Monts is full-bodied, rich and muscular, with tangy acids and ample reserves of fine but youthfully chewy tannins. Brooding and broad shouldered, this is a hearty, characterful Irancy that will reward some bottle age, though its structure isn't for the fainthearted.

Lift on the nose. Polished satin texture. The oak is a bit obvious but there is no doubting the ripeness of the fruit. (JR)
