Tasting Notes and Scores
The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet of rose petal, red cherry and strawberry. The palate is very well balanced, with wonderful Pinoté, but just needs a few more months to absorb the new oak on the finish. Not bad, though not the strongest of Bruno Clair's offerings this year.

Light to mid crimson. Sour-cherry on the nose, fragrant and lifted. The tannins are a touch firmer than on the Vosne Champs Perdrix but still super-fine, almost chalky. Rather light on the mid palate but well sustained. (JH)
