Tasting Notes and Scores

The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Corbeaux 1er Cru comes from 50- and 75-year-old vines. This is very well-defined on the nose with a mélange of red and black fruit, tobacco and light earthy/forest floor scents. Very good complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, a crisp line of acidity, an "airy" and elegant Gevrey that will gain more weight during its time in bottle. Excellent.
