Tasting Notes and Scores
The moderately expressive nose also offers up notes of smoky mineral reduction along with the same nuances displayed by the regular cuvée. There is even better concentration to the powerful and punchy big-bodied flavors that possess a lovely minerality on the focused, intense and beautifully long finish. While this may change with a few years of bottle, this is presently drier and more austere than the regular cuvée and that's not usually the case.
