The 2017 Chablis Grenouille Grand Cru is superb. So often wines from this site can feel a bit edgy, but here the 2017 stands out for its striking textural finesse. Floral and citrus inflections give the 2017 brightness and energy to match its vivid personality. This is such an inviting and alluring Chablis. I loved it.

Th 2017 Chablis Les Grenouilles Grand Cru sports a noticeable reduction on the nose, which still works well, maintaining delineation and focus. Subtle marine scents emerge with time and a very light struck match aroma lurks in the background. The fresh, vibrant palate is balanced and poised, displaying well-integrated new oak and a subtle bitter edge, and gaining weight and depth toward the edgy, minerally finish.
